Baby Tai
Over the years, I have noted that there are so many children abandoned between the months of October to December; I can explain the reason why but I can only speculate. My guess may not be true but I always think that some young girls who could be the mothers of these young ones would want to have a "good time" without the burden of taking care of their babies during the holidays, strange guess...... What could be the reason? I have no one to answer. Tai has just been admitted today the 13th of December having been abandoned at the Githurai open air market early this morning. He is about 2 months old. Once we admit these children, we usually bathe them before feeding them and giving them a bed. From his face, Tai did not really enjoy the water but after he was fed, he looked calm and peaceful. Welcome baby Tai.

Graham has a new family ( A dad and a Mum)
I cannot imagine Happylife children's home without Gramo!!!! Graham was admitted at HLCH when he was one month old. His early days were very challenging since he was in and out of hospital but later he recovered and he is one of those healthy jovial children. Those who have met him naturally falls in love with him, always happy and he loves dancing. "Gramo" as we call him has a new family!!! He will be celebrating his eighth birthday in January; this time not at Happylife but with his mami and daddy. He had such a faith that his mum and dad will be coming and he constantly talked and prayed about it, and the day has come. We are happy for him but we are sad to see him leave. We love you Graham and you will always be a part of our lives. God bless Gramo and his new family.

Patience and Linda adopted
Patience and her new mama
Linda and her Mum
Its not easy to believe that Patience is not at Happylife now. It took us a long time to get her legal documents so as to be released for adoption. Going to the police several times, the children's department and finally we got them!!! At times we may not know the plans God has in store even when we struggle here and there for these children. About two months after we got her papers, she now has a new Mama!! What a joy both for Patience and her Mum!! Finally, we had to say bye bye to our beloved Patience.... we miss her already. God bless you 'Pepe' and her new family.
After Linda was admitted at HLCH, she became very sick and was admitted for a long time at Kenyatta National hospital. I remember the joy we had when finally she was released from the hospital having recovered completely since all this time she had been put on oxygen; it was a Miracle!. Linda is a happy girl and she has never been sick again since. Now she leaves happylife with her new Mama. We will miss her especially mum Margaret who was so close to her and who stayed with her at the hospital for all the time. Baraka kwa Linda and her new Family.

He is about 2 1/2 years old.
Leanne was born on 1st August 2012. Her mum who was sickly gave her up for adoption through the child welfare society of Kenya and then placed at HLCH.
