Another new baby

If you ask us, the mothers that decide to give their babies up for adoption because they cant raise them, do the best thing for these babies instead of abandoning them in the midst of nowhere.  Jennifer's mother made that decision to give her up, we are sure a good family will adopt her soon.

Meet Faith Imani

We named her double Faith, because she will grow to be a woman of Faith,once she gets to know her unfortunate beginning.  Somebody carried her for nine months and abandoned her by the roadside for motorists to run her over!! Its heart breaking when you look into her innocent eyes oblivious that her mother put her on harms way.  Thank God for Happy Life, she is now getting all the warmth and love she needs.

Meet our miracle baby

Can you imagine going to work one rainy morning and hearing a noise come from a ditch nearby, on checking you realize its actually a baby wrapped with a dirty bed sheet and soaked from the rain!! God is gracious that he saved this baby's life who we named Alex. God bless all the good people out there that save these children and report to the police.

Scott has been adopted

Oh how we prayed for Scott! he was one of those babies that had a lot of medical issues, but he miraculously made a full recovery.  We were overjoyed when he got a family to adopt him, Scott will now get all the love and attention he deserves.

Yvette has been adopted

The joy we feel when our children get forever homes!! we are wishing Yvette all the love and happiness in her new family.

3 new babies

 We rescue these babies with a lot of joy knowing, they will find all the care and protection they need from Happy Life.  We have 3 new babies rescued in the past 2 weeks.

RE-UNITED

The stability that a child gets when they are with a good blood relative is essential and cannot be ignored, and we are happy that Jaden has gone with his maternal grandmother who will take care of him.  We will miss him he had become part of Happy Life.

We  are giving him shelter and protection for now as the police sort his issue.

Meet Hayden

He is so tiny and was a preterm baby born at 8 months and only 1.5 kgs.  He has stayed in hospital for 3 weeks for him to at least gain some weight, we got him this week at 1.8kgs.  Lets pray for him, am sure he will pull through he is a warrior.

We just got him and he is the cutest baby! the mother wanted him to have a better life because she could not raise him.  We are wishing him God's blessings and all the best in life.

Hello Clarence!!

The new trend in Kenya of placing your child for adoption, is more encouraging than the horrendous scenes we were witnessing a couple of years back, of people killing babies and leaving them in garbage, pit latrines, forests etc.  Clarence is one of those babies that the mother had decided to give another shot at life by giving him up for adoption.  We got him at 2 days old.

Tyler has been adopted

Isn't it exciting when we have to report an adoption every month! its our dream come true and an accomplishment of our vision of making sure every child gets a forever home.  Tyler is going to get all the love he needs from his new parents, and we are wishing him God's blessings.

The joy of adoption

Sometimes their beginning is not that rosy, but God always has a plan for this children.  It always a joy to see our kids get adopted and go to families that love them. Winnie, Nate, Peterock, Elliot has joined their forever homes.

Welcome our newest bundle of joy baby Chuck! he was given up for adoption by his mother a couple of days ago.

Welcome baby Emmanuel

We continue to rescue and give hope to the abandoned child, and also the neglected like Emmanuel.
His mother chose the brew over him, at only a month old he has been through hell and back, his mother leaves him unattended  and goes on a drinking spree. We are giving him shelter for now.

When a man and his wife cant agree, the kids are always at the receiving end.  These precious kids are safe now with us.

Welcome our newest bundle of joy baby Darrell who was found a few days ago abandoned at a shopping mall near us.  He will get all the love and protection he deserves from Happy Life.

We have a new trend of people abandoning siblings, this year alone we have rescued 5 sets of siblings. Moses and Osborn are our latest rescue.

Peace and Jesse have been adopted

These two kids have gone to the same home, its such a blessing that they will have each other.

Paleki has been adopted

We are over the moon Paleki has been adopted!! every-time we have an older child going to a forever home, it becomes such a celebration because we know how tough it is, for older kids to be adopted.

MEET BABY CALVIN

This wonderful lady was just trying to be helpful to her neighbour, she easily accepted to babysit Calvin, for a while as his mother run some errands.  Calvin's mother had other ideas she disappeared into thin air leaving the baby.  Calvin is with us now and he is doing well.

SHANTEL

Look at this Angel! her other preferred the drink and other things,rather than Shantel and her two siblings.  We are giving the care and protection as the police get to the bottom of the matter.

Peace has been adopted

We glorify God that Peace has been adopted.  I remember her other cried the first time she saw her, she could not believe we were actually giving her such an adorable baby.  We wish them God's blessings.

Adoption is just divine ,seeing that it gives children like Wesley a second chance to life and a good family.

Meet Nigel

We have rescued babies with extraordinary stories, and Nigel is one of them.  Can you imagine at 3 months he weighed only 1.9kgs, because his alcoholic mother would leave him for days, and go on a drinking spree.  It was so infuriating to see her try to nurse him when the police apprehended her while still drunk.  We rescued him and his sister and they are safe now.

Hello baby Gabe

Meet our newest addition to the Happy Life family baby Gabe.  He was give up for adoption by his mother, she was so heartbroken to give him up, but she already had another child and is a single mother.  Gabe will get a good family that will give him all he needs.

Ella has been adopted

The year is looking very promising with more kids on the list to be adopted.  Ella was one of those kids that didn't start very well, she had a lot of health issues and we were so not sure, whether to put her up for adoption or let her get strong first.  God had other plans this couple loved her instantly, and we are at peace knowing that she will have a better life.

Jesse Kay Children's Hospital

Our dream for better healthier kids has finally come true with the opening of our children's Hospital!  Jesse Kay Children's Hospital has opened its doors, we can now reach more vulnerable children and the community as a whole, with better affordable health care.

Meet Baby Terry

This precious baby girl was left in Hospital immediately after birth, and the mother disappeared.  The baby is perfectly fine, and she was 3.8kg on admission at only 1 day old.

HELLO AMANDA

Leaving a baby in a hospital bench sounds very absurd but that is what happened to baby Amanda.  Sometime you wonder whats going on in peoples heads.   How do you even sleep at night, when you newborn baby is crying in a hole somewhere.  What this mother did is horrible but its better than, throwing the baby in a pit.

Happy Life Welcomes baby Micah

This precious boy was born a few days ago, put in a box and left for the dead.  The police rescued him at around 11pm at night naked and cold.  I remember  feeling so apprehensive to take him in,since he was so fragile,but how could we say no, he is so cute.  He is now doing so much better.

MEET BABY MELODY

I dont know whether to say we are having a spiritual problem or just moral decay.  3 infants abandoned in one week almost in the same area is too much.  Melody was just born wrapped so nicely and left by the roadside.  Thank God somebody saw her before anything bad happened to her.

Hello baby Kiama"

A passersby was going to work a few days ago, and heard what sounded like a baby crying from a dumpsite. On checking, there was baby Kiama wrapped in a dirty cloth left for the dead!
God had preserved him because he wanted him to be found, greatness is his portion.  He is a very big baby and so good looking.

Meet Baby Angela

I cannot count the times we have rescued babies that were locked in the house by their uncaring parents, but no matter how many time it happens, it still breaks you heart to thin what this children go through.  This is the case with Angela whose mother would rather get drunk than take care of her.
She still looks very withdrawn and we can barely get her to smile, with time though, I know she will feel the love that our caregivers give and come out of her shell.

Happy Life welcomes Allan

At the end of last year we welcomed this precious boy into the Happy Life family.  He was wrapped in a blanket and dumped near a car wash by unknown person, thank God a good Samaritan found him before he was too cold. He is now safe and warm with us.
