Another Set of Twins - Mark and Max!!

Mark and Max, lovely twin boys have joined the Happy Life family.  What a lovely bundle they are!!  They are also very peaceful and are feeding well, with no cares at all.  I guess that's the beauty of being a child - and the Kingdom of God is for those who are like these little ones; letting God care for them wholly; not worried about the rejection, the difficult circumstances around them, or the dangers that loom in the world.  The Lord continues to give us an opportunity to give a home and a hope to abandoned children in our society, and for that we are forever grateful.

Julius and Kariuki re-united with parents

As much as we loved them so much and had they had warmed up to all of us at Happy Life, we are excited that Julius and his brother have today been re-integrated with the family through a court process.  We pray that they will be stable and find love with 'Mum and Dad'.   I am sure it is for a purpose that they crossed our path.

God continues to use Happy Life to give hope to abandoned children in our society.  These lovely boys were abandoned at a Day Care but God is gracious they now have shelter, food and loving hands to care for them.  These are siblings and they just love each other; they want to stay close to each other                                                                                     

Baby Gideon Love

"But the Lord said to him, "Peace! Do not be afraid."  You are not going to die." (Judges 6:23)

Baby Gideon Love (we decided this boy is a 'Gideon', very determined to fight for his life)!  This evening he weighs 2.1kg... and counting.  Everyone at Happy life is watching him gain some flesh around his face.  The legs and arms are still coming off the clothing for size, but he is starting to respond to the love he receives (especially from Terry, Anna and Leanne) and from all of us, by making sounds.  He is also demanding his bottle with force and I just love his spirit!  He has given me a reason to head to the Isolation Room every day to see him.  Surely God is the giver of life.  Please keep Gideon in your prayers daily.

Happy New Year 2015 - school opens for our children

Happy New Year to all our Happy Life friends and partners!  Happy Life Christian School has opened for 2015.  The children still afforded a smile even though the loss of one of them, Veronica, hung over their heads and of the teachers and mothers.  Yet, as it is with children, it was all systems go as children got ready with pen and paper to start learning and growing more academically.  We thank God for a new year and the opportunities it brings...

Baby Love joins the Happylife Family

Meet our newest baby, Love, at Happy Life.  Though he is four months old already he weighs less than 2kg, having been born prematurely.  But please watch this space; this boy will grow into a bubbly, handsome boy, thanks to the love and nurture by the Happylife mothers and staff.  Please help us pray for him to thrive.  Lord, we thank you for giving life to this boy... and for bringing him into our hands.
