Shelley joins the Happy Life family!

 Sometimes the circumstances surrounding our birth are not the best, but God always has a greater plan for each one of us. We are excited to introduce baby Shelley! she was given up for adoption by her mother, and we got her immediately after birth.

Sweet baby Randy

 

With the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, and the uncertainty of things, the number of abandoned babies has risen with time. 

Baby Randy is one of the newest babies we've rescued. He was left in an empty house and later saved by the neighbor. 

He is a healthy and sweet little boy who really enjoys his naps. 

Our true joy

We have mixed feelings every time we're releasing our children to forever families. On one hand, it's a bit sad to see them leave knowing how deeply we'll miss them and their company. On the other hand, it is our true joy when they go to wonderful homes. 

Joy Abigail found such a home and left to be with her new forever family. Oh what a joy!

Baby Alice enjoys her afternoon nap oblivious of how she got to the Home.The little angel was found in a vegetables booth, commonly known as kibanda. Considering the harsh weather conditions that have been there lately, we are grateful that she is a healthy baby after all.

Heated Bible Study

 Bible Study Session at Juja Farm

I bet the title got you thinking, or at least I hope it did. Bible Study sessions are still ongoing with the children at the Juja Farm center and for sure we’re all learning so much! It is always interesting and almost mind-blowing listening to the children explain their understanding of the Scripture and their world view. Goes without saying that we have really smart minds here and we thank God for this and the positive attitude they have consistently shown.

To think that such a precious angel was abandoned is unfathomable but that is the case for Sophia who was given up by her mother. This is why Happy Life is here; to rescue the abandoned and give them hope for their future.
Generally, she is doing so well and is a very healthy baby.

Meet baby Dorcas

                                                            Isn't she beautiful? 

As adorable as she is, Dorcas’ mother keeps leaving her and disappearing and this was the second time rescued her. All in all, baby Dorcas is growing up so well and has found a warm place at Happy Life where she is safe and well-taken care of.
