Ramah's New family

 Ramah and his adoptive parents
Ramah was admitted at HLCH 31st March 2010 when he was two weeks old.  Today marks a new beginning for Ramah; he has a Dad and a Mum.   Its such a joy to experience the doing of the Lord.  Ramah had to go through intensive therapy for him to walk but when you see him today, one can only praise God who has a good plan for all this children.

Happylife Home - Juja

It is now a reality! On the 28th December 2012, 15 children were relocated to our Juja home together with mum Salome who has been taking care of them.  The first house is fully complete and ready to be occupied.  Thanks to all our partners who have continued to support this great work.  The dream is big but we thank God for this far He has provided.  Together, we are making a difference.  God bless.

Rest in Peace baby Waldina

We took care of her for two weeks only.  Waldina died on the 26th December having been admitted at Kenyatta hospital for one day.  She was born pre-term and had a very low birth weight.  She was diagnosed with Menengitis on the Christmas day.  Rest in peace baby Waldina.

Baby Tai

Over the years, I have noted that there are so many children abandoned between the months of  October to December; I can explain the reason why but I can only speculate.  My guess may not be true but I always think that some young girls who could be the mothers of these young ones would want to have a "good time" without the burden of taking care of their babies during the holidays, strange guess...... What could be the reason? I have no one to answer.  Tai has just been admitted today the 13th of December having been abandoned at the Githurai open air market early this morning. He is about 2 months old.   Once we admit these children, we usually bathe them before feeding them and giving them a bed.  From his face, Tai did not really enjoy the water but after he was fed, he looked calm and peaceful.  Welcome baby Tai.

The Recently admitted children Dedication prayers today

Just admitted a one day old baby Waldina

Waldina

Waldina was born on the night of 10th December 2012 in a small hospital in Githurai area in Nairobi.  Her mother then disappeared and left her at the hospital.  However, young Waldina has a home in HLCH where she will be loved and where she will belong.
